Song database software
4 antwoorden

Hi guys,

I'm looking for ways in which we can improve our worship song database at church. At the moment we've got a spreadsheet with title, etc and when the song was last used (and at which service). But I want to somehow add in a way of cataloguing how many times a song has been used and when, and also when the song was introduced. Is there a way of doing this/some software we can use which won't make the database complicated or arduous to use?

Thanks.
Kathryn

Somewhat shameless plug, but I've been considering adding something like this to Quelea for the next release (see http://code.google.com/p/quelea-projection/issues/detail?id=64). It's not in there yet but if you want me to notify you when it is in there and released I'll make a mental note to do so!

Have you checked out www.planningcenteronline.com? It's been so useful here. You can use it for free for up to 10 users.

God bless

We just have an extra column on our repertoire spreadsheet for cumulative usage of a song at each congregation; you could have one for date introduced too.
It obviously requires someone to sit down every now and again and update, but that's a simple admin task if the orders of service/setlists are stored somewhere

Worship Central Adviser, York

we use planning centre also.
